Review:
The Ham Yard hotel is a good choice for a high-quality pre-lunch cocktail as well as for somewhere to stash the massive bass guitar you just bought on a birthday shopping spree.
We sat outside (after trusting them with the aforementioned beautiful bass and sinking the cocktails) on a sunny day and enjoyed glasses of Sancerre and Australian Chardonnay with a chilled asparagus soup and burrata salad. Our mains were the steak frites (good but enormous) and lamb, followed by a shared panna cotta.
I would definitely go back for a drink or quick meal with colleagues or friends.
