If I could change one thing: More interesting main courses
Review:
I visited this restaurant earlier this year with work colleagues, which worked well as it’s a good place for a businessy lunch but probably less fun for groups of friends or families, or dates. It also boasts a great view over the City on clear days.
For our a la carte lunch, we shared some Pinot Noir and also had a bottle of dessert wine. The bread was brown with chestnuts and was very pleasant. I started with the yellowfin tuna tataki salad, which was suitably light and fresh, followed by chestnut tagliatelle with butternut squash, which was a little bland. I didn’t have a dessert as the dessert wine did the job.
This restaurant is a good choice for clients or colleagues if you’re in the area.
