L’Anima … animated pasta and salads

When I visited: Various times from 2013-2015

Location: London, near Liverpool Street

Team: Antonio “Lello” Favuzzi

Rating in the Michelin Guide: Recommended

Dining Owl Hoot rating: 3/5

What to wear: Men – jeans or nice trousers and a shirt; women – jeans and a smart top or a smart dress / workwear

Ambience: Buzzy, businessy, quite fun

Course of the meal: Butternut squash pasta

If I could change one thing: More innovative dishes

L’Anima is a good choice for a work lunch or a post-work gathering and has an Italian-influenced menu which is particularly strong on salads and pasta dishes. I remember the butternut squash pasta and white wine choices as being especially tasty.
