What to wear: Men – shirt and jacket and nice trousers and shoes; women – a smart dress and/or smart trousers and a top

Ambience: Chinese, big low tables, sliding doors, dark, cool

Course of the meal: Roasted silver cod with Champagne and honey

I visited Hakkasan for a Christmas work party and they did a great job of providing a huge amount of tasty, mostly meat- and fish-based Chinese food and drink to hungry and demanding people. The flowery cocktails were especially tasty and I think since my visit Kanye and Kim have been spotted there, which will add to the restaurant’s ‘cool’ factor.
